Medical Runners

I found an article this morning that went along with the NPR story I heard about how President Obama and Congress are working out the plan for universal health care for all.

I know that when you seek any kind of medical treatment, you have to consent to it. What I don't understand is these people in New York state that go to the ER, get seen and then refuse treatment because they start to think about the bill. In California, we don't worry about the bill so much because we know everyone will be treated in the ER regardless of your ability to pay or not. Anyway, here is the link to the article.
